About the program

What To Expect

YBS believes everyone deserves a second chance at success. This is why we offer young adults, ages 16 to 24, who have previously dropped-out of school, the opportunity to complete their education by earning a high school equivalency diploma through our program. Students in our program receive workforce training and certifications in construction. And, it’s all free!

When not enrolled in academic classes, members work on projects that help them acquire valuable work skills that lead to future employment, while simultaneously benefiting the community. Members learn through building energy-efficient homes that are sold to low-income, first-time home buyers.
